The PM-F65W utilizes a through-beam photoelectric sensing principle, where an integrated emitter and receiver detect the interruption of a light beam by an opaque object. This design provides consistent and reliable detection at a fixed 6mm range, making it ideal for precise counting, positioning, and end-stop detection tasks.
Built for industrial environments, the sensor features an IP40 protective structure, safeguarding against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. Its wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and storage range of -30°C to +80°C ensure stable performance in varied conditions. The low current consumption of 15mA or less minimizes power draw in multi-sensor installations.
