The SB612-02-0001-L module utilizes a high-quality pyroelectric infrared sensor paired with a Fresnel lens to detect changes in infrared radiation caused by human movement. Its integrated digital signal processor filters out environmental noise, ensuring stable and reliable trigger outputs. The module outputs a digital high/low signal compatible with microcontrollers and logic circuits.
Engineered for durability, the module operates reliably across an industrial temperature range from -20°C to +55°C. The metal housing not only provides mechanical protection but also acts as a Faraday cage to shield the sensitive analog front-end from external RF and electrical noise, which is critical for installations near motors, relays, or switching power supplies.
