The PB05W Human Infrared Sensor operates on the principle of pyroelectric infrared (PIR) detection. It senses changes in infrared radiation caused by moving heat sources, such as a human body, within its 12-meter range. The integrated signal conditioning circuitry filters noise and triggers a solid-state relay to control the connected AC load.
Constructed with a flame-retardant housing, the sensor is designed for reliable long-term operation in indoor environments with up to 93% relative humidity. Its adjustable detection direction and light sensitivity settings allow for precise customization based on installation location and ambient lighting conditions, optimizing both security coverage and energy efficiency.
