Description
The SIMCom SIM808 development board integrates a complete GSM/GPRS modem and a high-sensitivity GPS receiver into a single compact module. Based on the industrial-grade SIM808 chipset, it provides reliable global cellular connectivity and precise satellite positioning for remote IoT systems. The module is designed for low-power operation, featuring a dedicated sleep mode and an integrated Li-Ion battery charger to maximize runtime in field deployments.
Communication and control are executed via a UART interface using the standardized 3GPP TS 27.007/27.005 AT command set, with extensions from SIMCom.
