Advancer Technologies EMG Muscle Sensor V3.0 Module with Cable and Electrodes
The Advancer Technologies EMG Muscle Sensor V3.0 is a professional-grade biopotential module designed to measure, filter, and amplify the electrical activity of skeletal muscles. It outputs a conditioned 0-Vs analog signal compatible with 3.3V/5V microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 for muscle-controlled interface projects.
Features
- Measures filtered, rectified, and amplified EMG (electromyography) signals.
- Outputs a 0-Vs analog voltage proportional to muscle activity.
- Operates on a reduced dual supply voltage of ±3.5V.
- Includes 3x reusable 52mm electrode pads and a 2-foot (60cm) connecting cable.
- Features an improved, adjustable gain stage for robust signal acquisition.

The EMG Muscle Sensor V3.0 employs a multi-stage signal conditioning circuit to capture the microvolt-level electrical potentials generated during muscle contraction. The onboard electronics provide high-pass filtering to remove DC offsets and motion artifacts, followed by rectification and amplification to produce a clean, readable analog output. This processed signal directly interfaces with the analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) of common development boards.
The module is designed for safe, non-invasive surface EMG measurement in prototyping and educational contexts. It includes a standard 3.5mm audio jack port for connecting the supplied electrode cable, simplifying setup. The reduced ±3.5V supply requirement enhances compatibility with portable battery-powered designs.
