Upside Down Labs Muscle BioAmp Band (EMG Band) - Dry Electrode Stretchable Band
The Muscle BioAmp Band is a dry-electrode, stretchable EMG sensor band designed for hassle-free muscle signal acquisition. It connects via snap electrodes to compatible Muscle BioAmp hardware or any standard EXG sensor using a BioAmp Cable, making it ideal for prototyping with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms.
Features
- Dry-electrode, stretchable fabric band for comfortable, non-invasive EMG recording.
- Snap electrode interface for quick connection to Muscle BioAmp hardware or any EXG sensor.
- Single-channel design focused on capturing clear electromyography (EMG) signals.
- Reusable and washable construction for extended use in prototyping and research.
- Compatible with popular development boards (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32) via appropriate signal conditioning modules.

The Muscle BioAmp Band utilizes a dry-electrode system embedded within a stretchable fabric to capture surface electromyography (EMG) signals without the need for conductive gels. This design simplifies setup and improves user comfort for extended wear during muscle activity monitoring, rehabilitation exercises, or human-computer interface projects.
The band outputs raw biopotential signals via its snap connectors, which require connection to a compatible signal conditioning amplifier (such as the Muscle BioAmp) for filtering, amplification, and analog-to-digital conversion. The resulting signal can be processed by microcontrollers for analysis, visualization, or control applications in biomechanics, prosthetics, and interactive art installations.
