The square float switch operates on a simple mechanical principle: as the liquid level rises or falls, the internal float tilts, actuating a hermetically sealed snap-action switch. This provides a dry contact output for automatic pump control or high/low-level alarm signaling. The double-chamber, remolded construction guarantees a hermetic seal (IP68), protecting the internal switch mechanism from liquid ingress and ensuring trouble-free operation in a wide range of non-flammable liquids.
Designed for industrial environments, the switch handles working pressures up to 0.1 MPa and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 75°C. Its robust plastic housing offers chemical resistance against water, sewage, oils, and many common industrial fluids, though it is not rated for explosive atmospheres.
