Winsen ME3-HF Electrochemical Hydrogen Fluoride Sensor - 0-10ppm Range
The Winsen ME3-HF is an electrochemical gas sensor designed for the precise detection of hydrogen fluoride (HF) concentrations from 0 to 10 ppm. It provides a linear current output proportional to gas concentration, making it suitable for integration into industrial safety monitors and environmental protection systems.
Features
- Electrochemical sensing principle for hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas.
- Measurement range of 0 to 10 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution.
- High sensitivity: (0.4 ± 0.15) µA/ppm output signal.
- Fast response time: ≤90 seconds (T90).
- Excellent long-term stability (<2% drift per month).

The ME3-HF sensor operates on a fuel cell/electrochemical principle. Target gas molecules undergo an electrochemical oxidation process at the working electrode within the sensor’s electrolytic cell. The resulting current is directly proportional to the gas concentration, as defined by Faraday’s law, enabling precise concentration measurement through current monitoring.
Engineered for reliability in demanding environments, the sensor features a wide linear range, good anti-interference capability, and minimal zero drift across an operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C. Its low-power design and stable output make it ideal for continuous monitoring applications.
