Description
The Reyax RYWDB51_M2 is a high-performance, industrial-grade wireless module that combines the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 standards in a compact M.2 form factor. Engineered around the Texas Instruments CC3351 system-on-chip, it delivers efficient dual-band operation across 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrums, supporting data rates up to 50Mbps. The module is designed for seamless integration into embedded hosts via its primary 4-bit SDIO and secondary SPI interfaces, with comprehensive driver support for Linux and various RTOS environments.
This card leverages key Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) and Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) to enhance throughput and reduce latency in dense wireless deployments. Its integrated BLE 5.4 radio supports extended advertising and long-range PHY options, enabling robust secondary communication channels for device configuration or sensor data backhaul. With an operating voltage of 3.3V and optimized power states, including a deep sleep current of 332µA, it is suited for power-sensitive yet performance-critical industrial IoT applications, from automation controllers to smart healthcare gateways.
