Description
The RAK2287 WisLink LPWAN Concentrator is engineered for building robust, scalable LoRaWAN gateway infrastructure. Its core is the Semtech SX1302 digital baseband processor, which handles simultaneous reception on multiple channels, significantly increasing network capacity and reducing packet collision. The module’s mPCIe form factor allows for easy integration into existing industrial routers, embedded PCs, or custom gateway enclosures designed for standard card interfaces.
Equipped with a built-in u-blox ZOE-M8Q GPS receiver, the RAK2287 provides precise timing for LoRaWAN Class B beacon synchronization and adds geolocation capabilities to the gateway itself, useful for mobile or asset-tracking applications. The USB interface variant simplifies host connectivity, requiring minimal driver configuration on Linux-based systems commonly used in gateway stacks like ChirpStack or The Things Network.
