Description

The RAKwireless RAK19017 PoE Power Slot Module is a dedicated Power-over-Ethernet solution engineered for the modular WisBlock IoT platform. It integrates the industrial-grade Silvertel Ag9905MT PoE converter, compliant with the IEEE802.3af standard, to provide a stable 5V DC output with a maximum power of 9W. This design enables remote IoT nodes, sensors, and gateways to receive both data connectivity and power over a single Cat5/Cat6 cable, drastically simplifying deployment in hard-to-reach or industrial environments.

Built for reliability, the module features robust input protection covering a wide 36V to 57V DC range and incorporates safeguards against short-circuit and over-temperature conditions. Its ultra-compact footprint (30mm x 50mm x 1mm) allows for direct integration into space-constrained WisBlock enclosures. The board includes a standard PoE Ethernet port with two user-controllable LED indicators and a physical reset button for system-level management, providing a complete power interface solution for professional IoT deployments.
