The Pro-Range E38S6G5-2000Z-G24N incremental encoder employs an internal photoelectric sensing mechanism, where a light source, code disc, and photodetector generate precise square wave pulses. The ABZ output channels provide two 90-degree phase-shifted quadrature signals (A & B) for direction sensing and incremental counting, plus a single pulse per revolution Z-channel signal for homing or reference position marking.
