Description

The M5Stack STM32MP135 Industrial IoT Gateway is a fully integrated edge computing platform designed for demanding industrial and automation environments. Its core is the STM32MP135DAE7, a single-core Arm Cortex-A7 application processor clocked at 1 GHz, paired with 4Gb of DDR3L SDRAM, providing the necessary performance to run a full Debian Linux distribution and handle protocol conversion, data processing, and network routing tasks locally.

Engineered for connectivity, the gateway consolidates a wide array of industrial interfaces into a compact, DIN-rail mountable enclosure. It features two independent Gigabit Ethernet ports (RTL8211F PHY) for network segmentation or WAN/LAN configurations, two high-speed CAN FD channels for automotive and industrial bus networks, and a combined power+RS485 (PWR485) terminal accepting 9-24V DC input. Additional expansion is provided via USB 2.0 host ports, a USB-C port with OTG support, and M5Bus Grove connectors. The integrated 2.0-inch touchscreen and audio output facilitate local monitoring and control without external peripherals.
