Description

The Intel Intel RealSense ID F455 Peripheral is a complete, out-of-the-box solution for secure facial authentication, integrating an active depth sensor with a specialized neural network running on a closed real-time operating system (RTOS). This embedded module is designed for local, on-device processing, ensuring user biometric data never leaves the hardware. It delivers industry-leading accuracy with a 99.76% true acceptance rate and an exceptionally low spoof acceptance rate of less than 0.1%.

Built around the Intel Intel RealSense ID Solution F450 core module, the F455 peripheral encapsulates the necessary optical components and processing hardware into a compact form factor. It operates as a peripheral device where an external host system manages enrollment flows, power delivery, and connectivity via the provided software programming interface in C++. The system is optimized for reliable authentication within a recommended range of 0.3 to 1 meter.
