The HLK-LD6002C is a sophisticated millimeter-wave radar sensor operating in the 57–64GHz band. It utilizes Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) signal processing combined with proprietary algorithms to detect subtle chest movements associated with breathing and heart rate, enabling non-contact vital sign monitoring. The module’s monolithic design includes the RF transceiver, antenna, and processing core, ensuring stable performance unaffected by environmental factors like temperature, humidity, dust, or ambient light.
Ideal for discreet monitoring applications, this sensor provides digital status reports over its UART interface, allowing for easy integration into health monitoring systems, smart home automation, and occupancy detection platforms. Its design supports ceiling installation in confined spaces such as bathrooms and toilets for single-person scenarios.
