The HLK-LD2402G employs Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology operating in the 24-24.25 GHz ISM band. This principle allows it to distinguish between moving targets, subtle micro-motions (like typing or breathing), and static human presence by analyzing the phase and frequency shift of the reflected signal. Integrated signal processing algorithms provide robust performance with strong immunity to environmental interference from light, temperature, and non-metallic obstacles.
Designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, the sensor functions across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its compact, surface-mount design supports both ceiling and wall mounting, facilitating deployment in space-constrained applications. The module outputs real-time detection data via configurable GPIO signals or a serial UART protocol, enabling seamless integration into automation controllers, security systems, and energy management platforms.
