Description
The HC-05 TTL Bluetooth Transceiver Module is a foundational component for adding wireless serial communication to embedded systems. Based on the CSR Bluetooth chipset and compliant with the Bluetooth Specification v2.0+EDR, it operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band using GFSK modulation. The module functions as a transparent serial pipe, relaying data streams at configurable baud rates from 9600 to 115200 bps between a microcontroller’s UART and any paired Bluetooth device.
Its architecture supports full piconet and scatternet configurations, allowing one master to connect to multiple slaves or for modules to participate in multiple networks. With a transmit power of ≤4dBm (Class 2) and a receiver sensitivity of ≤-84dBm, it delivers a reliable wireless range of approximately 8 to 10 meters in open space. The onboard firmware supports extensive AT command sets for configuring parameters like device name, PIN, role (Master/Slave), and baud rate, making it highly adaptable post-deployment.
