The HaiWang HW-XC509 utilizes continuous-wave (CW) Doppler radar technology at a fixed 5.8GHz frequency to detect motion by sensing shifts in the reflected microwave signal. This principle makes it highly resistant to common environmental interferences such as temperature fluctuations, humidity, ambient light, dust, and acoustic noise, ensuring stable operation in diverse indoor and sheltered outdoor settings.
The module features a repeatable trigger mode with a default 2-second output hold time, which can be adjusted via onboard potentiometers for range and sensitivity. Its compact form factor and wide 6-24V DC input compatibility allow for seamless integration into security systems, automatic lighting controls, and smart appliance activation circuits, operating reliably across an industrial temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
