The GY-SGP41 module is a digital air quality sensor built around the Sensirion SGP41 metal-oxide (MOx) sensor element. It outputs processed VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) Index values, which are calculated using Sensirion’s on-chip Gas Index Algorithm, providing a robust and intelligent assessment of indoor air quality without requiring complex calibration.
Designed for embedded systems, the module communicates via a standard I2C interface and operates from a 3.3V to 5V DC supply, making it compatible with a wide range of development boards and microcontrollers. Its low power consumption and extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) enable deployment in demanding IoT, smart home, and industrial monitoring applications.
