This industrial-grade float switch operates on a simple buoyancy principle, where the rising or falling liquid level tilts the square float, mechanically actuating an internal hermetically sealed switch. The double-chamber design and final remolding ensure a completely watertight seal (IP68), preventing fluid ingress and guaranteeing trouble-free operation in non-flammable liquids, including water, sewage, oils, and weak chemical solutions.
The switch is rated for direct control of AC loads, making it suitable for automatic on/off control of pumps, motors, and solenoid valves, or for triggering high/low-level alarms. Its robust construction supports a high mechanical lifetime, while the electrical contacts are rated for frequent switching cycles within the specified temperature and pressure (0.1 MPa) limits.
