Arducam B0353 Full HD Color Global Shutter Camera for Raspberry Pi, 2.3MP AR0234
The Arducam B0353 is a 2.3MP AR0234 color global shutter camera module for Raspberry Pi, designed for high-speed machine vision and 3D imaging applications. It connects directly via the Pi’s CSI-2 interface and leverages the Pivariety solution for full ISP control, including auto-exposure and white balance.
Features
- 2.3MP AR0234 Global Shutter Sensor eliminates rolling shutter artifacts for sharp imaging of fast-moving objects at up to 60fps.
- Pivariety Camera Solution unlocks full Raspberry Pi hardware ISP functions for auto-exposure, white balance, gain control, and lens shading correction.
- Direct CSI-2 interface connection requires no additional hardware and is compatible with libcamera and official V4L2 applications.
- External trigger input enables synchronized multi-camera streaming for advanced machine vision and 3D imaging setups.
- M12 lens mount and 90-degree horizontal field of view provide flexibility for wide-angle applications and lens interchangeability.

The Arducam B0353 camera module integrates a 2.3-megapixel AR0234 CMOS sensor with a true global shutter, making it ideal for applications where motion artifacts from a rolling shutter are unacceptable. It delivers full HD resolution at 60 frames per second, capturing crisp, color-accurate images of fast-moving subjects in machine vision, drones, and industrial automation.
This module is built on Arducam’s Pivariety platform, which bypasses the limitations of closed-source Raspberry Pi camera drivers. It provides direct access to the Pi’s Image Signal Processor (ISP), enabling professional-grade tuning of auto-exposure, auto-white-balance, auto-gain control, and lens shading correction through standard libcamera tools and GStreamer pipelines.
