The CLJ-C30-10APA operates on the electromagnetic induction principle, generating an oscillating field from its sensing face. When a conductive (typically ferrous) metal object enters this field, it induces eddy currents, causing a detectable change in the sensor’s internal oscillation amplitude. This change is processed by the internal circuitry to switch the PNP transistor output.
