The AS06-2210E operates on a cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoconductive cell principle, where its internal resistance decreases as ambient light intensity rises. This change in resistance is used to control a solid-state relay or switching circuit, enabling automatic ON/OFF control of connected AC lighting loads. The device is engineered for direct 220V AC line integration, requiring no separate DC power supply or logic-level interface.
Built with outdoor durability in mind, its encapsulated housing protects the sensing element and electronics from dust and moisture ingress.
