The Renke RS-RAD-N01-1-EX employs Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology operating in the 76–81 GHz millimeter-wave band. This advanced principle allows for highly accurate distance measurement by comparing the frequency shift between transmitted and reflected signals, ensuring stability unaffected by temperature, pressure, or vapor presence in the measurement path.
Its integrated CMOS RF chip and compact lens design produce a narrow 6° beam angle, minimizing interference from tank walls, agitators, or other obstructions. The sensor is engineered for continuous, maintenance-free operation in demanding applications, from water resource management to industrial process control, thanks to its IP67 protection against dust and water ingress.
