The LJC18A3-B-Z/BX operates on the inductive sensing principle, generating an electromagnetic field to detect the presence of metallic targets without physical contact. Its NPN open-collector output switches to ground when a target is detected, providing a clean digital signal for machine control and position feedback.
Constructed for industrial durability, the sensor is housed in a nickel-plated brass body capable of withstanding vibrations, oil mist, and brief washdowns.
