Description
The Arducam B01675MP PTZ Camera brings professional pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities to the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. This module combines a 5MP OV5647 sensor with a motorized 6-element optical zoom lens (3.2-11.1mm) and two servos for precise directional control, allowing a single camera to monitor areas typically requiring multiple fixed units. It connects directly to the Pi’s CSI port, leveraging the full bandwidth of the interface for high-quality 1080p video streaming.
Control is managed through a dedicated controller board, which handles servo PWM signals and lens motor drivers. The system supports software-triggered IR cut filter switching for low-light performance, making it suitable for 24/7 surveillance. Its architecture is ideal for developers building advanced IoT vision systems, robotic platforms, or automated security setups where dynamic framing and detailed inspection are required.
