Description
The M5Stack Stamp Pico is a highly integrated, ultra-compact development board built around the powerful ESP32-PICO-D4 system-on-chip. Measuring just 24x18mm, this module packs two low-power Xtensa 32-bit LX6 microprocessors, clocked at 240MHz, along with 4MB of flash memory. Its miniature size and optimized power consumption make it an excellent choice for applications where space and battery life are critical, such as wearables, medical devices, embedded sensors, and various other IoT deployments.
Designed for development flexibility, the Stamp Pico supports multiple installation methods including SMT, DIP, and fly-by-wire, in addition to a Grove interface for rapid prototyping. It boasts a finely tuned 3D antenna and an integrated RF circuit, ensuring stable and reliable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. The board also includes essential peripherals like 12 GPIOs, a programmable RGB LED, and a user-assignable button, all powered via a 5V input with an onboard 5V-to-3.3V DC/DC converter.
Development is streamlined with broad platform compatibility, offering support for M5Stack’s UIFlow graphical programming, Arduino IDE, MicroPython, and the Espressif ESP-IDF. This versatility allows developers to quickly transition from concept to functional application using their preferred toolchain. The Stamp Pico also benefits from M5Stack’s extensive hardware and software ecosystem, providing numerous options for sensors, actuators, and expansion modules to enhance project capabilities.
