XKB Connection SW-200DW-17T3G Vibration Sensor - Dual-Pass Tilt Switch, Gold-Plated Pins
The XKB Connection SW-200DW-17T3G is a single-ball, dual-pass tilt sensing switch designed for vibration and orientation detection. It provides a simple on/off digital output signal, compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic systems like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and industrial PLCs for basic state monitoring.
Features
- Dual-pass tilt switch with a 10-degree actuation angle threshold.
- Sealed, waterproof, and dustproof construction for harsh environments.
- High-temperature resistance up to 120°C for industrial applications.
- Gold-plated pins ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance.
- Rated for 100,000 mechanical operating cycles for long-term durability.

The SW-200DW-17T3G operates on a simple mechanical principle: a conductive ball makes or breaks contact between internal terminals based on orientation. When the guide end (non-pin end) is tilted more than 10 degrees from horizontal, the switch opens (OFF state). Conversely, when the trigger end (gold-plated pin end) is tilted down beyond 10 degrees, the switch closes (ON state), completing the circuit. This makes it sensitive to both tilt and vibration when in a horizontal position.
Constructed from environmentally friendly metal materials, the sensor is sealed to IP standards for protection against water and dust ingress. Its robust design and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for integration into control systems, safety cut-offs, and position-sensing applications where a basic digital trigger is required.
