Description
The Waveshare RP2350-PiZero Development Board leverages the advanced Raspberry Pi RP2350 dual-core, dual-architecture microcontroller, combining an ARM Cortex-M33 core with a Hazard3 RISC-V core. This architecture delivers high-performance compute capabilities while maintaining low power consumption, suitable for a wide range of embedded IoT and edge computing tasks. The board is equipped with substantial 520KB SRAM and 16MB of integrated flash memory, providing ample space for application code, file systems, and data logging without external components.
Designed for flexible system integration, the board features an onboard DVI output port for driving HDMI displays, a USB Type-C port supporting both device and host modes for peripheral connectivity or programming, and a microSD (TF) card slot for additional storage expansion. The inclusion of a lithium battery header and reserved solder pads for PSRAM chips further extends its utility in portable, memory-intensive applications. Its form factor and 40-pin GPIO header align with Raspberry Pi Zero standards, ensuring broad hardware compatibility and ease of prototyping within the maker and professional developer ecosystems.
