Description

The Waveshare ESP32-S3 IR Thermal Imaging Camera Module is a compact, self-contained wireless vision system designed for embedded thermal analysis. It combines a hybrid microbolometer and thermopile pixel array with the processing power of Espressif’s ESP32-S3, enabling standalone capture, quantization, and wireless transmission of temperature distribution maps and thermal imagery.

Engineered for low-power IoT deployment, the module features an integrated power management circuit supporting a 3.7V lithium battery header, extending operational life in field applications. Its 45° horizontal field of view (56° diagonal) and -40°C to 85°C operating temperature range make it suitable for industrial monitoring, building diagnostics, and environmental sensing where real-time, non-contact temperature profiling is critical.
