The Waveshare 24963 Serial Server is a robust industrial IoT gateway engineered for converting dual RS485 serial data streams to Ethernet. It features two fully independent RS485 channels, each with signal isolation, allowing for simultaneous and segregated communication tasks. The dual RJ45 Ethernet ports support 10/100M auto-negotiation and Power over Ethernet (PoE) per IEEE 802.3af, enabling flexible network topologies and centralized power supply.
Built for reliability in demanding conditions, the module incorporates power and signal isolation alongside surge, lightning, and ESD protection.
