Description
The Teltonika RUT361 is engineered as a core networking node for industrial IoT and machine-to-machine (M2M) applications where cellular reliability is paramount. Its Mediatek 580 MHz MIPS CPU, coupled with 128 MB DDR2 RAM and 16 MB flash, handles concurrent routing, firewall security, and multiple VPN connections while running custom scripts or data logging applications. The router’s robust power design accepts 9–30 VDC, compatible with vehicular 12/24V systems and solar-powered setups, and features passive PoE to deliver power over Ethernet to connected devices like IP cameras or sensors.
Connectivity is anchored by dual LTE antenna ports (SMA) supporting global 4G bands, and dual RP-SMA ports for the integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi radio, enabling the unit to function as a cellular-to-Wi-Fi bridge. The dual Ethernet ports facilitate network segmentation, WAN/LAN configuration, or connection to industrial serial servers (RS485/RS232) via external converters. With support for Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), administrators can deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot entire fleets of RUT361 routers over-the-air, ensuring seamless operation across smart infrastructure, remote telemetry, and mobile asset tracking networks.
