Description
The Teltonika DAP140 Industrial Wireless Access Point is engineered for mission-critical connectivity in demanding settings like factories, utilities, and transportation hubs. Its robust aluminum chassis and integrated DIN rail bracket ensure resilience against vibration, dust, and extreme temperatures from -40°C to 75°C. The device leverages Wi-Fi 4 standards with support for mesh networking and fast roaming, creating self-healing wireless networks that maintain stable connections for up to 50 concurrent users.
At its core, the DAP140 is powered by a Mediatek 580 MHz MIPS processor paired with 128 MB of DDR2 RAM and 16 MB of flash storage, running the OpenWrt-based RutOS. This provides a stable platform for advanced networking features, including dual Fast Ethernet ports with passive PoE input, simplifying installation by delivering both data and power over a single cable. Comprehensive security protocols, including WPA3, built-in firewall, VPN pass-through, and MAC filtering, safeguard industrial network perimeters.
