The Teltonika TRB143 Industrial M-Bus Cellular Gateway is engineered for demanding utility and industrial telemetry applications, providing a secure bridge between M-Bus meter networks and cloud-based management platforms. Its core architecture combines a high-performance LTE Cat 4 modem with a dedicated M-Bus transceiver, capable of managing and powering a large network of up to 250 slave devices. This facilitates remote reading of water, heat, gas, and electricity meters without the need for local manual intervention.
Built on the secure RutOS operating system, the gateway offers extensive protocol support including MQTT for IoT messaging, MODBUS for industrial device communication, and DLMS for standardized utility data exchange. Its hardened design features a die-cast aluminum enclosure rated IP30, ensuring reliable operation across an extreme temperature spectrum from -40°C to +75°C. Power is supplied via a wide-range 12-30 VDC input or passive PoE over the Ethernet port, with intelligent power management for energy-efficient operation.
