The SCD30 employs a patented NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) dual-channel detection principle for superior long-term stability and accuracy in CO₂ measurement. Its integrated Sensirion CMOSens® technology combines the CO₂ sensor with precise capacitive humidity and band-gap temperature sensing on a single chip, providing fully calibrated and linearized digital outputs.
Designed for low-power embedded systems, the module operates from a 3.3V to 5.5V DC supply and features fast response times. Its compact, low-profile form factor and robust digital communication protocols (I²C and UART) facilitate seamless integration into HVAC controls, building automation, IoT environmental monitors, and portable air quality devices.
