The LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo, a co-design by Seeed Studio Studio and MediaTek, is an advanced IoT prototyping board built around the OpenWrt Linux distribution. Its core is the MediaTek MT7688AN system-on-chip, featuring a 580MHz MIPS CPU that handles the main Linux runtime and network stack. A dedicated ATmega32U4 microcontroller, pre-programmed with the Arduino bridge, allows seamless execution of Arduino Yún sketches, merging the worlds of embedded C and high-level application development.
This board is engineered for developing feature-rich IoT applications, offering substantial 128MB DDR2 RAM and 32MB flash memory to support complex tasks. Its integrated single-stream 2.4GHz Wi-Fi radio and physical Ethernet port provide dual networking pathways for reliable connectivity.
