The Seeed Studio Studio Grove GPS (Air530) is an advanced, highly integrated multi-mode satellite positioning and navigation module engineered to overcome the limitations of single-satellite systems. By supporting a comprehensive array of global navigation satellite systems including GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, and QZSS, the Air530 ensures superior positioning reliability and accuracy, particularly in urban canyons or environments with obstructed views. Its capability to simultaneously track more than six satellites guarantees stable performance where conventional modules might struggle.
This module integrates a sophisticated RF baseband design, encompassing DC/DC conversion, LDO, LNA, RF front-end, baseband processing, a 32-bit RISC-based chip, RAM, FLASH storage, RTC, and comprehensive power management functions. This integrated architecture results in a compact, cost-effective, and highly efficient solution. With a cold boot time of 30 seconds and rapid recapture capabilities, the Air530 is primed for dynamic applications requiring quick localization.
Designed for seamless integration, the Grove GPS (Air530) offers a straightforward UART interface, compatible with a wide range of development boards and flight controllers (3.3V/5V supply voltage).
