The G80 is a passive, resonant-type piezoelectric Acoustic Emission sensor engineered for precise detection of low-frequency stress waves (20 kHz to 180 kHz) generated by material deformation, crack propagation, or leakage events. Its narrowband design centered at 80 kHz offers high sensitivity for monitoring large structures or highly attenuating materials like concrete and steel.
Constructed with a SUS-304 stainless steel case and a ceramic front face, the sensor ensures robust physical durability and excellent acoustic impedance matching. The IP62 rating provides protection against dust and limited water ingress, supporting reliable long-term monitoring in demanding industrial settings such as pressure vessels, pipelines, and civil infrastructure.
