The Omron D6T-44L-06H is a thermal infrared sensor that detects object surface temperature by measuring far-infrared radiation energy using a MEMS thermopile array. Its sensitivity is wavelength-independent, allowing stable detection across near, mid, and far IR bands without requiring active cooling. The sensor outputs a 16-point temperature Matrix via I2C, enabling simple integration for spatial thermal profiling.
Designed for surface-mount assembly, the module operates within a reference temperature range of 5°C to 45°C for accurate ambient compensation. Its non-contact principle ensures no physical interference with the target, making it suitable for applications requiring hygiene or where contact is impractical.
