SparkFun Qwiic Micro SAMD21 Development Board

Description

The SparkFun Qwiic Micro is built around the ATSAMD21E18, a powerful and versatile ARM Cortex-M0+ 32-bit microcontroller. Operating at up to 48MHz, it offers 256KB of flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, providing ample resources for a wide range of embedded applications. This compact board includes 12 digital pins, 5 of which support analog input, alongside dedicated SPI, I²C, and an additional UART data bus for flexible peripheral connectivity.

Designed for expandability and ease of use, the Qwiic Micro features an integrated Qwiic connector, enabling seamless integration with SparkFun’s extensive Qwiic ecosystem for I²C prototyping. For portable applications, the board includes unpopulated pads for an optional LiPo battery connector, allowing users to make their projects mobile. Furthermore, pads for an external flash memory chip are available on the underside, providing an option to significantly boost the board’s storage capacity.
