The Grow R311 Fingerprint Module utilizes an optical imaging sensor with an effective collection area of 13.8mm x 19.4mm to capture high-fidelity fingerprint patterns. Its 508 DPI resolution ensures detailed ridge and valley mapping for accurate biometric matching. The module operates on a 4.2-6.0V DC supply and consumes approximately 40mA during active sensing and processing.
Communication is facilitated via a standard USB 2.0 port for direct PC connection or a 3.3V logic-level UART serial interface for embedded microcontroller integration (e.g., Arduino, STM32, ESP8266/32). The onboard firmware supports 1:1 verification and 1:N identification across its 1000-template database, with adjustable baud rates, device IDs, and security parameters for system customization.
