The E3F-DS30P1 is a through-beam photoelectric sensor designed for non-contact object detection in industrial automation. It operates on the principle of an infrared light beam being interrupted by an object, triggering its PNP normally open (NO) solid-state output. This output configuration is standard for sinking input modules on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other DC control systems.
Constructed with an ABS plastic shell and a PMMA (acrylic) lens, the sensor is built to withstand typical industrial environments, including dust and vibration. Its wide 6–36V DC operating voltage allows for direct integration with 12V, 24V, or 36V DC power rails commonly found in machinery. The 1.2-meter pre-wired cable facilitates easy installation and connection to terminal blocks or connectors.
