Description
The ESP32-WROVER-IPEX module is a comprehensive wireless SoC solution built around the Espressif ESP32 architecture. It combines a powerful dual-core Xtensa LX6 microprocessor, capable of dynamic frequency scaling from 80 MHz to 240 MHz, with robust 2.4 GHz RF capabilities. The module is distinguished by its integrated 4MB SPI flash for firmware storage and an additional 32MB of PSRAM, which is crucial for handling audio buffers, graphics, or complex algorithm data in applications like voice encoding or music streaming.
Engineered for optimal power and RF performance, the module integrates key RF components including a power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, balun, and antenna switch. This high level of integration minimizes external component count, simplifying PCB design and improving system reliability. The on-chip peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensor, SD card interface, Ethernet, SPI, UART, I2S, and I2C, provide extensive connectivity options for sensor networks and human-machine interfaces.
