Description
The Arducam 5MP Mini SPI Camera Module integrates a 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor into a miniature 34 x 24 mm board, providing a streamlined vision solution for microcontroller platforms. It communicates via SPI at speeds up to 8MHz alongside an I2C control interface, efficiently transferring JPEG-encoded image data to hosts like the Raspberry Pi Pico, ESP32, or STM32 with minimal processing overhead.
Designed for embedded integration, the module features an M12 lens mount for flexible optics selection, a fixed-focus lens with a 50-degree diagonal field of view, and an internal 8MB frame buffer. Its dual 3.3V/5V operating voltage support and low power draw make it suitable for deployment in space-constrained, battery-operated IoT nodes, robotics, and monitoring systems where reliable image capture is required.
