Description
The ESP32 D1 R32 development board is a compact platform built around the Espressif ESP32, a powerful dual-core Xtensa LX6 microcontroller. It is engineered for IoT and embedded applications requiring robust wireless communication. The board’s design incorporates the complete RF front-end, including an integrated PCB antenna, balun, power amplifier, and low-noise amplifier, minimizing external component count and PCB footprint.
Powered via a Micro USB port, the board utilizes the CH340G chip for USB-to-serial conversion, ensuring broad driver compatibility across Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is fully programmable within the Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython frameworks, making it suitable for rapid prototyping of smart home devices, sensor networks, and Bluetooth-enabled gadgets. The 4MB flash memory supports substantial application logic and wireless stack overhead.
