Description
The Arducam B0332 USB camera module integrates a 1/4-inch OV9281 CMOS sensor employing a global shutter mechanism, which eliminates the rolling shutter distortion common in conventional cameras when imaging fast motion. This makes it exceptionally suitable for industrial inspection, robotics, and scientific imaging where temporal accuracy is critical.
Operating as a standard UVC device, it draws 5V power and consumes approximately 200mA, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of host platforms from embedded systems like the Raspberry Pi to desktop operating systems. The module’s M12 lens mount provides flexibility for lens interchange, while the fixed-focus lens offers a focusing range from 1 meter to infinity.
Designed for reliability in varied environments, it operates across an industrial temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The compact board includes standardized 34x34mm and 28x28mm mounting hole patterns for easy integration into custom enclosures and mechanical assemblies.
