Description
The Arducam B0066 is a miniature USB camera module engineered for Raspberry Pi-based embedded vision systems. It leverages the proven Omnivision OV5647 5-megapixel sensor, providing reliable image quality and full HD video capture directly compatible with the Pi’s CSI hardware interface. Its primary design advantage is the integrated 300mm flexible flat cable, which allows the compact camera head to be routed into confined enclosures, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
With a wide 62-degree horizontal field of view and a fixed-focus lens optimized for distances from 1 meter to infinity, this module is ready for deployment in surveillance, robotics, or endoscopic projects. It operates within an industrial temperature range and draws a peak current of 300mA, ensuring stable performance. The module includes an integral IR filter for standard visible-light imaging, while a custom NoIR variant is available for specialized machine vision or night vision applications requiring infrared sensitivity.
