Description
The Arducam IMX462 camera module integrates a premium Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor engineered for machine vision and surveillance applications demanding high performance in challenging lighting. Its 2.07-megapixel sensor with 2.9µm pixel pitch provides superior light-gathering capability, resulting in high sensitivity, low dark current, and minimal smear. The integrated motorized IR-CUT filter mechanically engages for accurate color reproduction in daylight and retracts for maximum IR sensitivity in total darkness, enabling reliable 24/7 operation.
Communication is handled via a high-speed 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 serial interface, supporting uncompressed RAW10/RAW12 data output at frame rates up to 50 fps at full 1080p resolution. This ensures minimal inter-frame distortion for capturing fast-moving objects. The module is supplied with a manual-focus M12 lens offering an 80° horizontal field of view and an F/1.6 aperture, paired with a compact 38mm x 38mm PCB for easy integration into robotics, industrial inspection systems, and autonomous platforms.
