The HLK-LD6002B utilizes Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology operating in the 60GHz ISM band (57-64GHz). This advanced signal processing mechanism, combined with a dedicated radar processing algorithm on an integrated ARM Cortex-M3 core, enables highly sensitive detection of human body states, including movement, subtle micro-motions, and complete stillness. The module features a 2T2R (two-transmitter, two-receiver) PCB microstrip antenna design, providing a wide beam pattern for comprehensive area coverage.
Engineered for reliability in diverse environments, the sensor’s performance is impervious to variations in ambient light, temperature, and humidity, making it suitable for demanding indoor applications. It outputs processed target data, including presence state, distance, and speed, via a configurable UART interface or GPIO pins, allowing for straightforward integration into automation controllers, security systems, and IoT platforms.
