The Pro-Range PR12-P120 transducer is designed for a nominal 5V DC supply. This voltage powers the internal strain gauge bridge and signal conditioning circuitry to generate the specified 0.5-4.5V ratiometric output. Ensure your power source is stable and within the typical 5V ±10% range for accurate performance.

The 0.5-4.5V analog output can be directly connected to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) input on devices like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or industrial PLCs. The signal is ratiometric, meaning the output voltage scales linearly with both the measured pressure and the supply voltage, simplifying calibration. Ensure your ADC reference voltage matches your system's logic levels.

This transducer features a standard NPT1/8 (National Pipe Taper) male thread. It is compatible with female NPT1/8 ports on pipes, manifolds, or adapters. For a proper seal, use thread sealant tape or a compatible liquid sealant on the male threads, ensuring not to obstruct the pressure sensing diaphragm during installation.

The sensor is rated for a working pressure range of 0-3000 psi. It will have a higher burst pressure rating (typically 1.5x to 2x the full scale) for safety. Do not exceed the 3000 psi working pressure limit to avoid damaging the sensing element. For applications with potential pressure spikes, consider installing a pressure snubber or relief valve upstream.
